Content:
Under construction. Precise content is unknown. Quotation
from website: « A journey back 500 years to one of little
Franconian towns: where the Middle Ages were bustling with life.
This is the time of the great painters, the last knights, and all
in a world full of music: Dance music was played at every feast
and celebration, even in church; princely music in palace and
castle, mostly cheerful music. This is were we are taken by this
CD taped within the walls of an ancient Franconian castle and played
by the Capella Antiqua Bambergensis on instruments stored there.
Raven-like sounding cromornes are playing to the rhythm of wooden
percussion instruments which are strung with calf skin; bold
recorders vary with sweet gemshoerner; the Pumhard/Pommern sound
powerful; shawms call to dancing on the village green; magic harps
play in the chamber... The Orient is mixing in with our Western
World, a precious little organ plays a wedding march ... On a PC
you can see and hear pictures, texts, sheet music and instruments.
