Comments: Information from owned recording. According to Jonathan Micah Shull (e-mail): "The "Fermin" (or "Ferminus") Caron is the name used by Tinctoris. It's probably an error, as there was a Ferminus Caron, but he was a generation earlier than the Philippe Caron active at mid-century and later. In any case, he was probably only a singer, not a composer."
