Comments: The first part of this disc seems to duplicate Erato ECD 75588, since both discs include the d'Anglebert, Rameau, and Bach pieces and were recorded at the 1987 Festival de Montreux-Vevey. The Diapason disc specifies a recording date of August 30, 1987, while the Erato disc does not give an exact recording date. The Soler and Scarlatti tracks, however, are in-concert performances of pieces he had recorded in studio and appear to be unique to this release.
