Along with troubadour songs of the 12th century Lord of Braye, Jaufré Rudel, this program includes some other music of the time, including some sacred polyphony. The general idea is to sketch Rudel's life, beginning with his songs, and ending with the legend that he died in Lebanon in the arms of the Princess of Tripoli.
