This recording features music composed and performed in Prague during the time of Rudolph II (1552-1612). Among the larger works presented is the six-voice Missa Filiae Jerusalem by court organist and composer Charles (Carl) Luython (c. 1557-1620), based on de Monte's motet of the same name.
