This disc continues A:N:S's Agricola series in fine form, even if the masses are less unusual than those previously recorded. Agricola's music continues to be striking & appealing, and these more "conventional" masses might ultimately serve to cement his reputation.
The performers seem to have lost a bit of their "edge" & excitement with this release, but they still create a clearly worthwhile rendition. Indeed, repeated exposure shows this release as among the most appealing of c.1500 polyphony.
