Although not a widely known vainika, this recital by R. Pichumani remains appealing, particularly for its relatively blunt & traditional presentation style. (The fingering doesn't always seem as nuanced or lyrical as on some other recitals, however.) It might be characterized as more percussive, here unusually paired with ghatam (clay pot) only.
