I'd already included originally a handful of recordings by Vilayat Khan (1928-2004) from the India Archive label, i.e. for whom he'd specifically decided to record his desired material under relatively ideal conditions. The same is true of this National Center for the Performing Arts (in Mumbai) archive series, although not originally intended for commercial release. So this is another "perfect" recital from Khan (even as the shorter & popularistic track #2 isn't as valuable to me...), and in this case features a morning raga. I've found it to be useful in my life already on that basis.
