These are very traditionally-oriented performances, perhaps slightly less articulate than what one might want, but with a good strength. I might also wish that the Pancharatna Kritis themselves were given slightly more expansive renditions, at the expense of leaving off the other tracks, but again they are effective demonstrations. The framing tracks are also among the most compelling renditions here, and well-chosen.

(The Pancharatna Kritis are the middle five tracks.)
