Comments:
When you listen to this version, it becomes rapidly quite obvious that it is totally different from the previous New London Choir or Hilliard Ensemble. In those you get a feeling of intimacy and spirituality, in this version a feeling of grandeur and solemnity and the number of performers is impressive. Which performance is the best?, as you wish, each one is superb.

Note that the Inviolata, integra et casta es, Maria recorded here is a 12-part version of Josquin's 5-part original, and is attributed to Josquin in one source.
