Comments: Information from owned LP and catalogues. Although no longer available for a long time (except few excerpts on CD), this set is one of the most serious short anthologies of medieval and early renaissance music. It was in its time very well received winning the price of "Académie Charles-Cros" and the "Edison Award". Yes, there was a few years later David Munrow, but I must also honestly admit that this set started a long standing love story with the music of this period.
