Buxtehude was is one of the most prolific and admired of the German Baroque organ composers. He was the most significant representative of the North German school, and produced a large output in nearly every form.

There are many, many recordings of Buxtehude's organ music. The present choice received the Diapason d'Or in France. Each volume is sold individually as well as in a complete set:
