This recording presents items from the circle of Martin Luther (1483-1546), notably Johann Walter (1496-1570) and Thomas Müntzer (1489-1525). Also included are two pieces said to have inspired Luther by Antoine de Févin (1473-1512) and Josquin Desprez. The remaining item is by Georg Forster (1510-1568) & Caspar Othmayr (1515-1553)
