Besides the better-known Palestrina (c.1525-1594) & Allegri (1582-1652), Antonio Lotti (d.1740) was another composer who wrote in a late-Renaissance style despite the age in which he lived. His Crucifixus has long been a staple on Renaissance sampler discs.
